San
Juan Quality Waters and
Mid River
The river is alive with insect hatches and feeding trout. Fish can be caught
using an array of techniques; dries, streamers and the ever productive nymphs. It
is a world-famous river for a reason...lots of big fish. The waters that flow
from
Navajo Dam offer technical trout on small
flies and light tippet. Have an AVA guide
show you the tricks and techniques to help
you hook-up on these trophy trout.
Mid
river float or wade trips are located
below the Quality
Waters and
offer anglers more diverse
waters and at times
a less crowded experience.
This section of river
is great
for
kids
or new
anglers. All
of our San
Juan wade and float trips
are the perfect trip
for beginner, intermediate
and experienced anglers.

San
Juan Lower River
This
is a very special section of
river flowing 12 stunning miles through
public and private ranch land.
Spring offers great streamer
and nymph fishing for feisty browns
and bows in the deeper pools.
Summer and fall months offer consistent
dry fly fishing to eager trout
feeding in riffles and long runs.
This adventure is only available
as a full day trip due to the
float distance. Perfect for beginner
to expert anglers. This section
sees very little float or wade
pressure. No
crowds, wild fish and stunning
scenery. Another client favorite.
